Have you visited KnowBe4, a site Vassar has partnered to bring comprehensive training on how to remain safe online? Today we’re talking about KnowBe4, a cybersecurity training website that everyone at Vassar can use to complete trainings and learn vital online skills.

KnowBe4 features trainings and games on topics such as those in the Learn section of this website. Currently, we have a module and game on phishing and a module on secure passwords available to the Vassar community. Some of these are required, while others are to continue exploring and building your skills.

Do you remember receiving an email a while ago about a quick security training? If you’ve completed that training, you’ve already used KnowBe4! While mandatory trainings might sound terriblly boring (and a lot of times they are!), KnowBe4’s trainings are all super quick (think 5-10 minutes) and keep the modules and games to-the-point and even fun. Plus, the optional modules are going to be constantly updated, so you can get training and practice with many different topics. Whether you feel like you’re already a cybersecurity expert or you hardly know your way around a computer, these trainings will have valuable information for you. The newest modules released will be posted on the home page of this website as soon as they’re released, as well as on the specific page for KnowBe4 (which also has instructions for how to access and use the site).
